Hvar Local Guides Association is a non-profit association founded in 1998. The role of which is to provide travel agencies, tour operators and individual clients with detailed information and inside tips about our island, offer advice on local itineraries and put prospective employers in touch with its memebers to engage their services in tourist guiding. Our members are exceptionally well-trained licensed tourist guides that can offer you guided tours in eight different languages.

All our members live and work on the island all year round and are true experts in all aspects of local life, both past and present. We have the latest views on local attractions, events, things for our visitors to see and do and would be delighted to share with you our knowledge of local culture and heritage, history and art, geography and wildlife. We offer sightseeing walking tours, coach tour commentaries, personal driver-guides, a „meet and greet“ service and assistence for groups and individual clients .
